Walk a short distance upstream from DeBarr Avenue at Muldoon Road, part a tangle of branches…
…to see a beautiful pond reflecting the Chugach mountains behind it…
…mirroring the sky in a timeless and peaceful setting.
A giant beaver dam anchors a beaver pond, a few steps from the nearest dwelling…
…a little water flows through the logs placed there by the industrious beavers.
Below the beaver dam, Chester Creek courses through a lush landscape…
The singing creek hurries along through the forest in a beautiful, natural setting…
…rippling along at a good pace through spring’s leafy greenery.
…and emerges from the forest just before it runs under Muldoon Road.
